This is a Painting in the battle of Belleau Woods and I thought that it would make a awesome tattoo. The tattoo was done in Savannah GA (California tattoo by Isaac).

Fire and EGA, and Once A Marine Tattoo
Dear Sgt. Grit,
In February you posted a letter my daughter had written for your newsletter. I was quite surprised to read it as I didn't know she had submitted one to you. She talked about how she was leaving for PI in a few weeks and how "freakin motivated" she was. I just wanted to let you know and those who replied to her letter and encouraged her that she is now a Marine. She graduated from PI on 5/6/05. The EGA ceremony was inspirational and emotional for the new Marines (many of whom were crying, men and women) as was most of the audience.

MARPAT EGA Tattoo
Inspired by the new MAR PAT Uniforms and having been out for almost 10 years I decided to finally get my Marine Tattoo. I worked with the artist to come up with design taking into account the new tactical Camouflage Pattern an our beloved Eagle Globe and Anchor.
Ka-Bar and Stone EGA Tattoo
I got my tatoo while in my MOS school at Fort George G. Meade in MD. I got Tattoo done by Chris of Meade Tattoo. It's a fouled K-Bar with a Stone Eagle, Globe and anchor in front, on my left leg.
I've been in the Marine Corps since December 2004. It's the best thing I've ever done. Ooh-Rah!
Fallen Brothers Tattoo
When I returned from the first time from Iraq I had my brother design me this… Its for all our fallen brothers in Iraq and there familys. I want the public to see this and remind them, why they have there freedom.

Coming Home Present
I am a marine wife. In May of 2004 I found out that I was pregnant with my son. A few days after that my husband(Cpl. Greer, Joseph USMC) was activated for deployment. He was deployed 2 1/2 months later. He was on the phone talking to me while I was in labor. That was an interesting conversation to say the least. I had planed to get a tattoo for my 20th birthday, but I was pregnant at the time. So one week before Joseph came home I got my tattoo. He was a little shocked that I did it. Alex was five weeks old when they finally met. To show my love and support for my husband, I had it written permanently on my back. Anyway here is a picture of my tattoo.
