Marine Corps Chief: ‘Distraction’ of Gays Serving Openly Could Cost Marines Limbs

Marine Casualty List
My name is Ricardo Rodriguez, I am a former Sergeant of Marines I am currently in the process of compiling a book which I hope will list every Marine that ever died while on active duty. I know this is a very challenging project. A couple of years ago I was online and saw a site dedicated to honoring our service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan. I decided to compile a book that will list the name of every Marine who has died on active duty, from Lt. John Fitzpatrick the first Marine to die on duty during the American Revolution to Afghanistan. I am hoping that my fellow Marines out there may want to help by submitting names of Marines they know who died on active duty, such as Marines killed in accidents, training accidents, unrecognized combat action, combat, maybe it was a father, brother, uncle, friend, etc., that I have not listed yet? I know these Marines do not want to be forgotten. The information I am looking for is the Marine’s Name, Rank, Unit, Date of death, Cause of death. If you do not have all that information it is okay as I will verify every name anyway. Any advice is also welcome. I can be reached at the following addresses below:

New Chapters in the Second Marine Division Association
Greetings Fellow Second Marine Division Association Members, I am writing to you and eleven other members who had served on active duty with the 2dMarine Division sometime in the 1970s up to the present and who had provided me with an email address. You are one of several exclusive groups who I firmly believe are the future of our association. I need your help to ensure that future. Let me explain why and how.
