Found this cartoon in my old scrapbook from 1967. I believe it came out of a "Playboy" magazine. Every time I look at it still gives me a chuckle .

Sgt Grit is a place where Marines can come and meet other Marines, share tattoos and stories, keep up with Marine Corps news, or shop for USMC gear.

Thought I would share some pictures of our snow bulldog. My marine husband Kane, I and our three children Dakota, Cadence and Keely made with our very rare Christmas day snowfall. Posing beside is our bulldog Samson.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Sgt. Grit,
I did this drawing for Memorial Day. I know it is late but ,if you like, you can use it. Thank you for your service to your Country.

Proud Father of a Marine son in 2/8.
Sgt. Grit,
I am writing this letter to say that i am newly enlisted in the USMC (040716) and I am seventeen years-old. I have been wanting to be a Marine since i was in 8th grade, and I am now currently an early grad (dec 04) and I am set to ship out in feb 05. I have worked extremely hard to graduate ahead of my class so I set out to achieve my goal of claiming the title of the few and the proud. The USMC has become such a part of my life that I am now currently doing art based around the marine corps. I have enclosed a few dif. pictures of my piece entitled, "The DI Creed" I hope you enjoy these as much as my recruiter does. Thanks…Semper Fi!

Sgt. Grit:
Reading the letters from Marines about the "good ol' days" at boot camp, I thought back to those days of yore and remembered a couple of drawings I did shortly after graduation. I have attached them because I know Marines of all eras will be able to clearly identify with them. One is my depiction of one of my Junior DIs, Cpl J.L. Stelling. The other drawing is me receiving his, shall I say, moment of wrath?
Dear Sgt. Grit, Look at this, I foundit at a garage sale.
