Thought I would pass along a couple of pictures of my Grandson Jacob and I wearing a couple Grit hats.
Like Grit I was a Sergeant with 1st Marine Airwing and served in Bien Hoa.

Dear Sgt Grit,
Look forward to your newsletter every week, thank you very much for your time. Attached are two pictures of me when I was 4 years old and the Marine Corps League had its convention in Milwaukee WI. Hope this will bring back some memories to readers today over 50 years later. The uniforms were from a 200 pound Marine and my Grandmother cut them down to fit me at 4 years old, she did an outstanding job. At the convention I was made an honorary Devil Dog with my very own dog tag which I have to this day. I did go into the Corps in 1961 and today am a member of the Marine Corps League in the Old Breed Detachment 767 of Glendale AZ and of the West Valley Devil Dogs Pound 332. I would not trade any of my Marine Corps experiences for anything they have served me well all during my life.
Thought you might like these pictures of my grandson Nathaniel Duquette, mother of 3 Marines Danielle Duquette

Hello Sgt Grit!
My husband is LCPL Jeffrey Saville, as most people are doing, we are celebrating the birthday of the Marine Corps. Our son, Bryce Saville, has been wearing his Dress Blue outfit in honor of the 235th Birthday. Since he has been wearing it all day it has gotten a little dirty 🙂 Out of regulations I know 🙂 I wanted to share this with all of Sgt Grit and its fans! I apologize but I was not sure which email to forward this too.
