I was a CORPSMAN with 11th Engineer Bn, 3rd Marine Div. 67-68. The 11the Engineer Bn placed the minefield around Con Thien, built the outpost on the DMZ, and opened Route 9 to KheSanh in 68. Six of us returned to Vietnam in 89 to help with landmine problem and spent 2 weeks with the men we fought against.
