As I look across the desert sky
and gaze up at the stars…
I wonder how the shepherds felt…
When they saw that King of ours!
It truly was a moment…
That changed the course of time…
And through His presence here on earth…
His message was divine.

A new radio talk show host by the name of Ken Hamblin, or as he refers to himself “The Black Avenger,” is blasting the “America is wrong bunch” on stations across the nation from his Denver CO, headquarters. This son of immigrant parents from Barbados and former member of the 101st Airborne “Screaming Eagles” takes on the “egg-sucking dog liberals,” as he calls them, infuriating them Monday through Friday, telling them there’s nothing wrong with the so-called “socially disadvantaged” that a day of honest hard work won’t cure. . . that the welfare state created by the do-gooders is the problem. . . not the answer. . . he refers to AFDC as “breeding for dollars” He says “dignity comes from work” and opposes affirmative action programs.
Anticipation is mounting,
and the soldiers are all counting,
on those smiling faces of families to be there.
AT LAST!
Hard to wait,
as they become late,
but they all see land,
and they cheer.
AT LAST!
The waves move aside and splash against the boat,
and their families, they see, are cheering as they smile and not think to gloat,
about the war,
they are dancing with happiness.
AT LAST!
On land they look and see,
the many uniforms and faces with glee,
the war is ending,
that's all they care.
AT LAST!
Reunited at last,
some men sporting a cast,
but nothing can stop,
the happiness and joy.
AT LAST!
Even those who never had a family member there are cheering,
cheering, not jeering,
this beautiful day seems filled with peace.
AT LAST!
At Last.
At last.
To be enriched by the passion of Glory
To bear true faith and allegiance to the same
To be entitled to a Declaration of Independence
Of all wealth and cause for Freedom
To thank the lucky stars to be living in a Free Land
Because the flag stands for Freedom and that will never be taken away
Pride of an American Dream
To be known that your Free and to have that Freedom mean something
And to not forget the men and women who gave their lives for your tomorrow
To stand up for your Country and defend the Red, White, and Blue
To a blessed land of knowing boundaries
Unit, Corps, God, Country—-the true meaning
Untouchable Freedom that time has weathered its source
Bearing the knowledge from brother to brother
To achieve the best of all worlds
To introduce new life and the meaning there of
To Conquer and to not be Conquered
Understanding wealth,health,and happiness
On the road to many horizons
Riding the Eagle home to Glory
Raining in on those that take the long way
The meaning of a dollar earned
One Nation for which it stands under One God
Sea to sea and ashes to earth
Glory be the name almighty and true
Watering wonders of undetectable growth
To have, to hold, till death you do apart
Marriage of sorts from birth to new birth

But most of all our freedom, that so many died to bring!
Though our Nation still is young, and suffers growing pains,

For those who think it is always wiser to put together an international panel of negotiators to try to talk foreign enemies into being nice, I present to you our Arab war. The one 200 years ago. The one in which diplomacy failed miserably. The one in which Europe refused to help. The one we conducted alone. And won.
