In Memory of My Brother

My Brother, Lance Cpl Nicholas Anderson was deployed in January 2006 to Afghanistan. March 13, 2006 he was killed when his humvee overturned with him up in the gunner's seat. He died from the injuries sustained in that accident. When he was home in December for his leave before deployment, we went and had tattoo's done together and they were chinese symbols that stand for older sister, younger brother. So when we received this news of my Brother's passing, I went down and added to my tattoo, I had a set of dog tags added and had In Memory, My Brother put on the dog tags. My Brother and I were very close to each other so it means alot to me that we did the first tattoos together and now I have that forever and my new one makes me feel close to him again. read more

I Stay Lovin’ My Marine!!!!

Sgt. Grit,
I am so proud to be one of the few chicks that can handle being the wife of a Marine. I have been a proud wife since November 16, 2005. My Husband is stationed at New River in Jacksonville N.C.. I got my tattoo on my right arm right before he was deployed to Djibouti, Africa in Feb. I have his name (Charles) in the dog tags. The tattoo design was his idea and I loved him enough to get it. Out of all of the things in the world to be, being the wife of a Marine is by far the best and most challenging. No matter where my husband is now and may be deployed to in the future, I will forever stay lovin' him just as hard as I can. Love You Baby. read more

Just got it in April 2006. The rope goes almost all the way around. It stopped about 1/2 inch short under my arm and the artist frayed the edges. I've got another tattoo I'm thinking about. Tattoo on the left side of the chest. "The realistic heart is exposed and the EGA is tattooed on the heart. read more
