Hello everyone. I am a new Marine mom. My son PFC Gary, just finished his SOI training at Camp Pendleton on 1-5-06. He got his permanent duty station in Hawaii. He is in the 3/3 Lima Co. There is a chance that he may go over to Iraq, it terrifies me, but this is what he wants to do. I will be brave for him. I am extremely proud of him for joining the Marines, which are the toughest branch. I recently got a tattoo while he was home for Christmas, It says MOM mother of a marine. I told him that he will forever be a marine and I will forever be his mom. To all the fellow Marines who are over defending us, please keep your heads down and return safely, and a great big THANK YOU for serving our Country. read more

This backpiece was done on Jeffrey R. Looman (82-86). It is a portrait of Ronald Reagan's prized stallion "El Alamein" given to him by the President of Mexico in 1981. The flag behind him represents our great country with the ever present globe and anchor on the lower left corner. read more

My tattoo is in resemblence to the Vietnam Memorial yet depicted as the Fallujah Memorial for my close brothers I lost in Operation Phantom Phury, the "Push Through Fallujah." In November of 2004, Kilo Co 3rd Bn 5th Marines assaulted Fallujah, marked as the biggest offensive since Hue City, Vietnam. It symbolizes that all Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines, whom gave the greatest sacrifice, past and present, Are Never Forgotten. read more

My husband returned from Iraq in March and my father, a former Marine could not wait to go with him to get their Marine Corps tattoos…My father has been out for over 30 years and said he was past due. Here is a tattoo that I got after my Iraq Deployment with 3/4. It is a combination of two tattoos the USMC is one I got in Virginia Beach at Intel School. The Devil Dog is the one I got after my Deployment. Right now I am heading to Cherry Point to 2nd MAW which means back to the Sand Box one more time. read more
