My uncle is a retired Marine (1970-1990) and has a tattoo like this. A scroll with USMC in it. He was a big part in me joining and I wanted to get the same tattoo. First Tattoo was the Campaign Cover and Cross Swords with the words USMC, AND S.D.I. for Senior Drill Instructor. Later I had the big Bulldog placed there and had the D.I. hat made to look like a Tattoo on the bulldogs arm. There is also a Stars and Stripes flag up on the shoulder with the Bulldog. read more
