MarineCorps creates law enforcement batallions
The Marine Corps has created it's first law enforcement batallions, the newspaper article says.
The Corps activated three such batallions last month.
The byline is CampPendleton, Calif.
Article says "Each batallion is made up of roughly 500 million military police officers and dozens of dogs.

First Tattoo was the Campaign Cover and Cross Swords with the words USMC, AND S.D.I. for Senior Drill Instructor. Later I had the big Bulldog placed there and had the D.I. hat made to look like a Tattoo on the bulldogs arm. There is also a Stars and Stripes flag up on the shoulder with the Bulldog.

My uncle is a retired Marine (1970-1990) and has a tattoo like this. A scroll with USMC in it. He was a big part in me joining and I wanted to get the same tattoo. 69 YEARS AGO, I ENTERED BOOT CAMP AT MCRD IN SAN DIEGO, PLATON NUMBER 846, HEAD DRILL INSTRUCTOR WAS CORP. E.K.RYAN, ASSISTANT DI WAS PFC F.A. WATKINS. THE REASON THAT I CHOSE THE MARINE CORPS, MY BROTHER WAS STATIONED AT HICKAM FIELD WHEN THE JAPANESE ATTACKED PEARL HARBOR, AND I KNEW THAT THE MARINES WOULD BE FIGHTING THEM. MY BROTHER IS STILL LIVING AT 89 PLUS YEARS, WITH MANY BLOCKAGES TO HIS HEART, TOO MANY FOR SURGERY, AT 89 PLUS YEARS, AND ONE OF THE VERY FEW MEMBERS OF THE PEARL HARBOR SURVIVORS.
