My first motto tattoo

My uncle is a retired Marine (1970-1990) and has a tattoo like this. A scroll with USMC in it. He was a big part in me joining and I wanted to get the same tattoo. 69 YEARS LATER

69 YEARS AGO, I ENTERED BOOT CAMP AT MCRD IN SAN DIEGO, PLATON NUMBER 846, HEAD DRILL INSTRUCTOR WAS CORP. E.K.RYAN, ASSISTANT DI WAS PFC F.A. WATKINS. THE REASON THAT I CHOSE THE MARINE CORPS, MY BROTHER WAS STATIONED AT HICKAM FIELD WHEN THE JAPANESE ATTACKED PEARL HARBOR, AND I KNEW THAT THE MARINES WOULD BE FIGHTING THEM. MY BROTHER IS STILL LIVING AT 89 PLUS YEARS, WITH MANY BLOCKAGES TO HIS HEART, TOO MANY FOR SURGERY, AT 89 PLUS YEARS, AND ONE OF THE VERY FEW MEMBERS OF THE PEARL HARBOR SURVIVORS. read more
