Doc & Gunny Just Laughed !!!
In the 1980s my platoon from 1st. CEB had been sent to the Army jungle survival school in Panama for 30 days. I as the company Doc had my hands full with cuts, scrapes, and rashes.
One day the Co. Gunny and I were heading up the the barracks stairs to our 2nd floor home. All of a sudden a large bodybuilding Marine came running down the stairs with his hand covering his forhead. Blood was all over his face, and running into his eyes, he was a mess!
USMC superior training
Once upon a time or so I've been told, a SGT was sent to Marble Mountain w/ a req for some extra beer from the flyboys. While he was waiting for it to be loaded, he helped himself to the the tap left unguarded (only the flyboys would be this trusting) behind the bar.

My Best Christmas Present Ever!
My wonderful wife of 39 years took some of my old USMC and Veteran's t-shirts from and created this handmade quilt for me as a Christmas Present. And I wanted to share this with all of my Marine Brothers and Sisters.

A Man and His Son
This is Landon Carpenter –born one month after his Dad paid the price in Afghanistan serving with 3/8. It is clearly one of the most moving photos I have seen representing the sacrifice of our Marines in this conflict.

Bob Hope Memorial San Diego
I was in San Diego a last month on business and took these photos at the Bob Hope memorial near the pier.
