I was honored to do this tattoo on Private Brenden Fortier to commemorate his pride on graduating from USMC Boot Camp on July 15th, 2005. He got it done before heading back to SOI at Camp LeJeune.

Sgt Grit is a place where Marines can come and meet other Marines, share tattoos and stories, keep up with Marine Corps news, or shop for USMC gear.

This is my USMC tattoo, keeping it with the old 40's Sailor Jerry style.

PFC R.C. White
My name is PFC Moll, im stationed at MCB Hawaii and this is a pic of my tattoo i got while with MCCES at 29 Plams, CA
My son's tattoo, 0311.
I'm currently stationed in 29 Palms, CA, soon headed to Oki. I got this, along with another one on my forearms. I only have a picture of the one as of now. Standard moto tats. I got 'em done at Pair-A-Dice Tattooz Studio here in town. The pictures don't do them justice. Ironically enough, the contest Gunny Davis recently won at the same tattoo parlor, I came in second.
Cpl Smith's Devil Dog tattoo

Will have many more to come.

I thought you guys might like this tat since I didn't see any like it in your site. I did it on a guy (Corporal Lincoln) who has been out of service for about 8 years. He hemmed and hawed for some time (years!) before deciding on this tat to commemorate his time in (1993-1997).
He was in the 3rd Battalion, 1st marines. MOS:0331.

This tattoo is from 1989 after I got out of boot camp and was at Camp Geiger for MCT. It was done at Zeke's Tattoo Parlor in Jacksonville, NC. I am currently designing my next tattoo. When it is finished, I will send you another photo.

Sgt. Grit,
I spent 8 years in the Corps and always regretted not getting my pride inked on like many of my bretheren. Well, this past June, I received this "Kings of Battle" artillery tattoo as a fathers day gift from another proud Marine…my father.
