This is the most recent tattoo. Have four other Marine tattoos that I have gotten since the first in 1969, in San Diego. This new one was done at California Tattoo in Savannah, Ga, by Isaac. As they say Once a Marine, Always a Marine. Glenn R Margewich MGySgt, USMC {Ret}

USMC Tattoo
Hey Devil Dogs! I would like for you to add this tattoo to your Scuttlebutt pages of USMC tattoos! My husband, Sergeant Tim Capehart, and I got married on May 19, 2007, and he got activated on June 1, 2007. He will be leaving for Iraq at the end of September, 2007, and I am heartbroken, but proud. I love my husband with all of my heart, and althought I will miss him more than words can express, I am so proud of him. He is fulfilling a commitment to the country that he loves, something that so few are willing to do. He is a Combat Engineer with Alpha Company, 4th CEB out of Cross Lanes, WV and will be deploying with 3/23 out of New Orelans. This is my husband’s secound tour of duty with his Corps, and I have been here holding down the homefront while he is gone. I got this tattoo in support of him. I want the whole world to know just how proud of my husband I am. I showed it to a friend of ours who is a Gunny, and he teared up and told me that he wished everyone knew just how important the wives, girlfriends, etc are to the men that are overseas. He told me that we are the backbone of the deployed Marines. I completely agree. A lot of people focus on the guys, and rightly so, but they often overlook the wives that are left behind…it’s hard for us too! I pray every day for my husband, along with every other Marine that is serving to protect my freedom. To all Marines past, present and future, thank you for your service. I owe you all a debt that I could never repay. Semper Fi! Stephanie Capehart

Marine Corps Tattoos
My son graduated from Parris Island on September 14, 2007. Before he left to boot camp, he wanted a tattoo, but when we talked about it and I told him as a birthday gift I would get him his tattoo after boot camp. While he was in boot camp I wrote him and told him that I would like to get one too as a celebration for his accomplishment. So we decided to get them together. We couldn’t get them together on the same day as there wasn’t enough room, but we did go with each other days apart to get them. Moto Tattoos… Not Just for Marines?

Moto Tattoos… Not Just for Marines?
I was reading about all the different things that were said about people who aren’t Marines getting “moto” tattoos. I love them. For a Marine wife it’s just as hard. Marine wife’s stands there by their Marines side the whole way and it’s not easy. Since I’m not a wife yet I can’t say “I” but I have there with my Marine before he was a Marine. I’m as “Moto” as anyone out there. My car says it all. I would love to have some simple EGA tattooed on my body with the phrase “standing by his side forever and always” somewhere on my body but for now Fidelis graces my side and on my marine’s side graces Semper. When we stand together it explains what we are and what the Marine Corp is to us…Always Faithful. Right now my always is miss from my side because he is on deployment in Iraq with 3/7 Lima Company but well be returning home to me again, so we can finally get married. So I might not be a wife yet but anyway you look at it, the Marines is as much a part of me and as in any Marine that earns his EGA, only I didn’t spend 13 weeks in He*l, I’ve spend 2 years of on again off again that will keep going for the rest of my life. I also wanted to say that I love and support any Marine helping to fight this war we are in. I’m from a marine family and I really do understand the whole circle. My great grandfather who served in WW II is the oldest Marine Vet. in Vancouver, Washington and we watch him ever year walk in the many parades we have. I lost two brothers in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2002, both where Marines. I love my family and not a single person within it has a negative thing to say about our boys (and girls) out there. We are always here supporting them. Jaimie Loy A Marine Wife in Training. Loving and Supporting my Marine PFC Franklin Hawes- 0311 3/7 Lima Company 2nd Platoon Twentynine Palms
Bio-Hazard Tattoo
This is a pictures of my husbands tattoo. He got it right before he left for Iraq this January 2007. I had been dying for him to get one since we met and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. We got one together! He is an NBC guy, so his friend designed a bio-hazard symbol and we placed the words death before dishonor around it. It is a moto tat for a moto marine. Eagle, Globe, and Anchor Tattoo
I got my Eagle, Globe, and Anchor on Sept. 12, 2002 after graduating boot camp, and after serving in OIF 1 I designed my second tattoo to honor all those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. Without our honor, and respect for them, our Corps would be nothing. Semper Fi, Joshua Allan Lance Corpral of Marines Honorably Discharged
