My Tattoos

Here are some pix of my tattoos. The one on my upper arm I got while attending SOI in May of 1990 at Camp Geiger, done at Odyssey Tattoo in Jacksonville NC (Top USMC Tattoo). The Skull on my back is the CCI Logo from when I was a Close Combat Instructor from 1994 to 1996 with SSgt William Moore, at DivSchools and AITC Camp Geiger. Got it the day I got out January 15th 1996. read more

Until They All Come Home Tattoo

As proud parents of a Lance Corporal in the Marines, we both faithfully wore our yellow bands with the words "Until they all come home" on a daily basis. However, due to problems at my husbands business, he had to stop wearing his! (We promised our son that we would not remove them until all our troops were home.) He was really depressed, so he had the idea of putting it in a tattoo. He said that it is still fitting, because our troops will either come home to us or come home to God. He wanted a tattoo to show our son how proud he was of him (and that he could take the pain too!) Our son's tattoo has a cross with wings and the initials of all four family members that have served in the military. It has a banner below that reads "Keep Watching". He received this tattoo before he graduated from High School. He figured he needed all the guardian angels he could get. I will send pics of my son's tattoo later. I will be getting mine soon. I am going for Eagle talon's clutching Daisy with EGA on the Eagle's arm. This will stand for my son and my daughter. read more

25 Years To Decide

To all my fellow marines,
the following picture of my tattoo represents a decision that took 25 years, i was discharged Sept.10th 1980, after serving 4 years mostly in Hawaii,Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Air Station, Alpha Battery 112,where i was in the Fire Direction Control unit, as the Computer, did 2 west pacs while there had a ball, but could never decide what to get. so after basicly giving up for about 25 years i finally decided on the classic, Eagle,Globe& Anchor. and i think the tattoo artist did a great job. read more

Wolfman’s Tattoo

My name is Chris Wolf (COMBAT WOLFMAN). I am a SSGT 6113/6173 and served from 1991-1998. I drew this tattoo one night on barracks duty after returning from Somalia Africa. The tattoo was featured in Skin Art magazine (1994) due to the story behind it. I Crashed while serving with HMH-363, February 14.1992, Balidogal Africa in a CH 53D helo. The CH 53D (RED LION COMBAT CHOPPER 61) and the love of flying was once part of my heart and it is now behind me. The tattoo is on my back behind my heart.
