Sgt. Grit,
I am GySgt Rose USMC Retired. This is the tattoo I finally got after retiring from the Corps in 2001. I spent 20 yr. 8 months and 5 days in and never got a tattoo but wanted one so I went to 616 A. West Roosevelt Blvd. Monroe, North Carolina 28110 704.225.9383 while visiting another retired Marine and I got this one of a kind original tattoo I had it drawn before I went to get it, I wanted to make sure I got what I wanted so this is it. Owner / Artist: John Mills did my tattoo. It is also featured on his web site www.inkaholicstattoos.com Hope you enjoy the art.

POW-MIA Tattoo
Sgt. Grit,
Here is my newest tattoo. The artist helped with the idea. He suggested the idea of fading the face. I hope that your readers like it as much as I've enjoyed the ones that they have shared.

Temporary?
Hi Sgt Grit
I bought one of your temp tattoos and tried to fool my son when he was on leave. Well he was too smart for me, and didn't believe it. I told him by the time he got back from Iraq I would have a real one, he said he wouldn't believe that either. Well that sounded like a dare to me! So I wanted you to see my new tattoo. It's much bigger than the temp and the colors were changed to make it my own, also it says mother of 2 marines. I am very proud of my tattoo and the more I look at it the more I love it. So far, I only got response from one of my Marines and he liked it.

Her First Tattoo
Sgt. Grit,
Here's a picture of my tattoo for you tattoo page. My tattoo is on my lower back, right over the top of my pants. It's my first tattoo and I love it! I'm looking to get another tattoo, but I don't know where. I love the Marnie Corps and love serving!

Better Late Than Never
I got out of the Corps in 99. Was with 2nd Bn 8th Marines 94-97 then shipped over to be with H&S Bn on Parris Island from 97-99. It's been five years since I got out but it hasn't stopped me from wanting to put the EGA on everything I own. Thought everyone was kinda corny when I was in because they got these straight outta ITB. I guess the wait was worth it, I found the right artist who drew up exactly what I wanted.
Great times, great buddies and I miss both of them.

Tattoo Born On Date: 2005 Mar 06
My husband is getting ready for his third deployment to the Middle East since the war on terrorism began. He decided now would be a good time to get the USMC tattoo he'd been dreaming of. We also wanted to get matching tattoos, so we found a compromise. Mine's a little more feminine for the PROUD MARINE WIFE and his is tough for the HARDCHARGING DEVIL DOG. Thanks for posting!

USMC Tattoo My First Tattoo
I was in the Corps from 1976-1980. It took me 25 years to get my first Tattoo. I wanted one that had something to do with the Marine Corps. I found many great pictures on the internet. I took three to a tattoo artist and had her make me a picture that was special. I got my tattoo on April Fools day 2005. I wanted to support my Brothers and Sister that are fighting for our freedom. This is the Tattoo. Thank you for letting me tell my story.

Found your Tattoo page while searching for some Marine Corps artwork. Thought I would send a pic of my recent tattoo. I had several MC tattoo's done while I served with 3/5 from 1989 to 1993 and after the Gulf War. Recently had some cover-up work done on one of them cuz it just never looked right after lousy job by the first artist, since I was covering a MC tattoo, decided I had to get a different one.
