One of my favorites

I saw this this as a statue somewhere, my daughter (8) colored the drawing so I went with her colors.

Eagle, Globe, and Anchor Steel Gears of a Marine.

Designed and drawn by myself (SSgt David Nelke) this design incorporates a ‘wing’ style mechanical eagle with my wife and kids names in the his talons, a stylized globe and anchor (sorry squids, anchor is downplayed). With “Air Wing” insignia wings this design moves us in to the future. Yes it’s startling, but change is inevitable.

Got this after engineer school.This was my first tattoo, it was done by a retired Gunnery Sergeant. Its still my favorite tattoo, even after six and counting tattoos later.
