This tattoo was designed by my husband and myself. He says its a reminder that he always has my back and that I have a friend, protector and one of The Few, The Proud, The Marines =)

I got this tattoo in Oakland, CA in 1968 as soon as I graduated MCRD, San Diego. Although I am a Vietnam Vet I was told that this tattoo was very popular during WWII. I had it recolored several years ago and I need to have it done again.
