Chesty Meets Dali Geopoliticus: Child Watching the Birth of a Marine
I’ve been long time a fan of Salvador Dali’s art and I’ve wanted to get a Marine tat since I got out in 1969. But something original and unique. Last year I found an artist online, Justan “Sharpie” Carlson in Las Vegas and sent him graphics of the Marine Corps Emblem and Dali’s “Politicus: Child Watching the Birth of a Man.” Justan designed a mash up of the two and last April he tattooed me in an all night session. Next, a USMC banner in Dali style.
In Memory of Lcpl. Joshua Twigg , Fallen but not Forgotten.
This was for my hero, my cousin Lcpl. Twigg. He laid his life down in Marjah, Afghanistan in 2010 enduring our freedom . He is an America hero to everyone and will never be forgotten. For all those who have lost a loved one while they were enduring your freedom, i guarantee they have done it with pride. *Joshua T. Twigg KIA September 2, 2010 Company E 2nd BN 9th Marines.
