  2. At 75years of age, I was at an airport waiting to board my flight to Hawaii to see my daughter, her husband and my granddaughter when out of nowhere a spry young man came up to me and said, “… RELAX SIR, I HAVE YOUR WATCH!” My Marine cover gave me away. A tear came to my eyes because I was reminded that my country is still safe and in good hands. SEMPER FI young man and thank you for making my day!

  3. My husband ( was 1stmardiv f2/11 Nam 3/68 4/69 ) passed in October, it’s been difficult to get into the Christmas spirit, but when I saw “ jingle bells” I laughed. Every Christmas my husband would sing it after the kids were in bed. I was humming it this Christmas Eve and my now adult kids heard me and started singing it out loud, I cried and laughed… I’m sure my husband was looking down and singing with us.
