Copper EGA I made in honor of son’s graduation

Copper EGA I made in honor of son's graduation

I am enclosing a copper EGA I made in honor of my son who is graduating from Parris Island on Oct 16TH, 2009.. Being a Marine from 1969 to 1970, I could not think of a better way to express how proud I am of him then making this EGA which He has earned 40 years after I did.. There will always be the bond of going through Parris Island that only the few and proud share and that is one thing I will always share with my son.

  1. My son served 9 years in the Corps.and I served 4 years. Now a grandson is serving in the Corps. There is a bond that will always be there.

  2. My son served In the Marine Corps for 6 years during the Desert Storm episode and finished his career in the recruiting station. I served 20 years 3 months and 27 days and retired as a Gunny Sergeant in 1966.

  3. I served proudly in the Corp and my family has served in the US Military for over 240 years.I would love to have this on my mantle.
