I had the distinct honor to witness my son earn the title United States Marine on 12-Aug-05 at MCRD Parris Island. Without my knowledge my son joined the our beloved Corps in the delayed entry program on 27-Feb-05 exactly 30 years to the day that his old man had enlisted. He now leaves for Camp Lejeune for infantry training. He and I had this tattoo done in recognition that we are "Father*Son*and now Brothers…" Not as lean, Not as mean, but still a Marine.
