Korean era

William James “Bill” Inman was in Korea from 1948-1951. Bill got his final roll call yesterday, December 6. He was 90 years old. He talked about his experiences at Inchon Landing and how cold he was all the time. We tried many times to find more survivors from his boot camp experience at Parris Island. His platoon graduated June 1948.
Again he got his final roll call December 6, 2021. He always told my son, stationed at MCAS Mirimar, Simper Fi.

  7. god has called up one more marine……….to watch over the gates to heaven………..semper-fi marine………..you have served your country and your family with the pride that no man can surpass……

  8. Bill was my dad, not my contributing factor. He had taught me so much about respect. No military branch would accept me because of my extremely small weight. Bill taught me that not everyone was supposed to serve. He did get my son to enlist with the marines and is now serving MCAS Mirimar. God bless all marines! All branches deserve our utmost respect

  9. Thank you for your service sir.

Your sacrifice will never be forgotten by your fellow Marines.

May the Lord bless you and comfort your loved ones.

    Semper Fi!
