Marines don’t have that problem.

    1. Marines Never question their orders. They serve and take pride in being the nations best. In time our leaders will learn, bit in the interim, the Marines are here to serve and protect

    2. Not “all for nothing”. For a space of 20 years, the Afghan people enjoyed a period of relative stability. We gave them that.

  1. This MARINE knows compassion & LOVE and all others just tear down this Commander in Chief just because they can with right wing rhetoric and some others are to cowardly to stand up for enough. Look over 20 yrs nothing accomplished.Afghan leaves his blood to find safety in a Arab UAE country. Afghan military tumbles. No Afghan wants to fight for the very land they call home. It’s more than a One man problem it’s a Afghan problem in not stepping up for a strong belief and conviction. You can’t hide from the True One GOD . Fight for Your own Country. You had over 20 plus yrs to learn something.

    1. Semper Fidelis Charles Mitchell Jr. we as a democratic country gave our blood to help another, if their price for the freedom was to lay down their weapons and walk, they only hurt themselves!

    2. The Afghan army did fail but while we were there we did keep the enemy occupied there. They are here already and a lot more will come now
      Thanks Joe Biden

  2. Everything we do as Marines is for a cause, God bless each and every one of our brothers and sisters. Hold your heads high and be proud of everything you have done for this wonderful country. Semper Fi . Let’s all stay positive and do good for someone or something always.

  3. Having served 13 months in Nam as an 03, I can identify with my Marine Brothers who sacrificed in Afghanistan. I found solace when I realized that nobility exists independent of policies and civilian leadership (or lack thereof). The sacrifices and courage that I was privileged to witness were noble, and it is blasphemous to call it a waste !

  4. Nice photo Op. Now this Marine(?) with the 3 suppressed rifles nearby, with this baby, are these tools for evac?
I hope these guys are over there wacking some taliban but!!

  5. My Son is an 18 yr career Marine. He served 2 tours in Afgn. during the war. Plus other deployments before and since. He is now a First Sergeant and plans on continuing his career in the Corps. He fought beside his Brothers and Sisters to Serve our County and Our beliefs and sacrificed for this great country in so many ways. Some paid the ultimate price. I for one am so very Proud of there service and the prices they paid. God Bless Our Marine Corps. A Proud Father

  6. Marines will piss and moan and complain. If they don’t, then somethings wrong. Then we will complete the task at hand. We will always be handed the dirty, dangerous, unachievable missions and seek out and engage our enemies. That’s what Marines do. Feel proud in that always. Semper Fi!
