My son, LCpl Joseph Wisneski, was deployed to Afghanistan for the first time last year. Before he left, I promised him we would get tattoos together when he returned. I never promise anything and I’m terrified of needles so there was no way he was going to miss this opportunity. When he came home in May, we did it. His is in memory of friends he lost while he was there.
