I met my LCpl, through a girl that my ex-fiance cheated on me with, strange right….
Well when I met Tj, it was just sending him a message to be careful with this girl.
Needless to say I never thought I'd become a marine girlfriend,
Tj and I met for lunch in july, I didn't know this boy from adam so when he took me back to work instead when he went in for a hug, I returned this action by quickly extending my hand for " THE HANDSHAKE" . I didn't know it was his last night home on leave and had hoped to see him again before he left, but unfortunatly I didn't get off work till very late.
We made plan for dinner and I waited and waited and waited … the boy stood me up. Lol like most girl I was put off by it but then right as i woke up to a house with no power, My cellphone was giving me its little green light telling me i had a message. It was from Tj, telling me he was sorry he got held up at his mothers, I quickly shook it off and told him it was not problem, It was around 11 pm. He asked if he could come and see me before his flight I told him yes and to be quiet to meet me outside I had a gift for him.
About thirty minutes later I heard his truck pull up, I walked outside and in hand had my childhood stuffed animal, I told him " His names Leo the Lion, I've had him since i was four (I'm 18 now) if you dont bring him home I'll hunt you down and hurt you, but I'm giving him to you because he always kept me safe." He responded with a huge grin, and took off a necklace he had on, and responded with " This was given to me by a Philli marine for good luck right after I went on tour there" we hugged and he left . Its been two months that weve been together and I can say it's hard but it's so worth t. So to all you girls men, and women semper fi. Its always worth it.
