Marines M/C

I am submitting two tattoos both are of our Marines M/C colors and one is where the tattoo artist did it himself on his arm.

This picture is of Sgt Tom Ingle (ret) of Marysville WA. He was in Vietnam with Recon in 1968. He owns his own tattoo shop and he actually did this tattoo on his arm himself. He is a member of a national motorcycle club called the Marines M/C (www.marinesmc.com). read more

Death Before Dishonor

Hey Sgt.Grit,

Stumbled across your website while looking at flash for a new tattoo. Love all the submissions from my fellow Marines!! I got this tattoo in 1991 after returning from the Gulf War in a little shop in Jacksonville, NC outside Camp Lejeune. I wanted something different which would also make a statement. I had it done on my right forearm, and it makes a great conversation starter whenever I shake hands with someone!
Keep up the great website!

Eagle Globe and Anchor Tat – 36 years later

I started at MCRD San Diego, Plt. 136, Honor Plt., SSgt. Haycock in FEB68. 2531 Radio Operator with 1/3 in Northern I Corps, Okinawa, Med Cruise, etc. Saw so many good tattoos but for some reason I didn't get one until 6MAY04. Now I am glad I waited. I am very pleased by this work by Paul Stoner at Second Chance TAT-2 here in Tennessee. My wife, 3 daughters, 3 granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons, 1 great-granddaughter all love it. Will add more to it later, maybe "Death Before Dishonor" or something. Thanks for all you do! 18MAY04 (I have completed my tattoo. 26NOV05) read more

Work In Progress

Sgt. Grit,

This Tattoo is a work in progress. I got the U.S.M.C. in 1987 at Fort Lee, Virgina when I was at an Army dog school for Bulk Fuel. All I had was $40.00 I spent the rest on suds the night before. I got the tank, flag, and jet added about five years ago here in Bakersfield, Ca. I am going to get the EGA on my right bicep in front of the tank soon. My Tattoo artist retired and I am in search of someone that can do it right. Guess I got to head down to Oceanside. As soon as I get the EGA I will send it in. Thank God for Sgt. Grit
