MY USMC EGA

Sgt Grit, This Tattoo was originally done by an artist in Destin, Florida that did not do a very good job. I had it re-done by Jeremie, a fine artist working at "Tattoos Forever" in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. I had planned to get a tattoo for many years, but could not really decide what I wanted. After spending much time looking at different tattoos, I gathered ideas from different graphics I had seen and composed this design. I am now working on a design to place on my other arm. While I am at it, let me tell you what a great service you do for Marines around the world with your newsletter! (Great merchandise, too!!)

Homeland Security

On 9-11-01, I sat in the station auditorium. Ironically enough we were having a "rapid deployment" brief to advise the Marines in their families what would happen if we had to deploy. We didn't know about the terrorist attacks until halfway through the briefing. The entire base went to lock down and most Marines got ready for war. I always wanted a Marine Corps tattoo but it had to be something unique. I was not until that day that I knew what I wanted. I am no longer on active duty but I continue the fight while work for the Department of Homeland Security. read more

The Eagle Flies

My name is Chris Tennant and i'm a recruit waiting to ship out to Parris Island. I leave June 8th, 2004 with the MOS of 2111 Small Arms Repair. This is a tattoo I just had done, it isn't related to the Marine Corps itself but I thought maybe you would want to put it on your site anyway. I plan to get many more including some USMC work done after I graduate boot camp. read more
