    1. Eating to stay alive he’s eating a snake or parts of it or it’s a frog anyway it doesn’t look good yukee

  1. All absolutely hilarious!!!….except RT; sometimes a sense of humor is all there is when death is the other option, and guess what: you don’t have to read Sgt. Grit. To the rest, thanks for the much appreciated laughs in these deadly times. SEMPER FI!!!!!
For the rest of you here’s a hint: snakes are cold blooded animals.

  2. Its a part of a snake blood drinking ritual! Not in person but I’ve seen this before. Many Marines stationed at where he’s stationed(my apologies I can’t remember) take part in this ritual. It’s not sure if it’s legal or allowed but it gets done regardless. Semper Fi!

  3. I never did that in my Corps training and not sure if I would have done it. I was in 1960 to 66. I read the men were drinking snake blood. No thanks. I’d rather eat grass. but then I became a vegan vegetarian in 1985 and now I eat a lot of grass. Only kidding because I got a great wife who cooks up a storm for this old man. I’ll be 82 in a few weeks and I am still doing push-ups and other stuff. The Marine Corps was the best thing that ever happened to me. 33 years after boot camp I wrote a letter to Sgt. Jimmy E. McCall, one of my junior DI’s, for making a man out of me. The Commandant forwarded it on my behalf. He was one heck of a Marine and I could never pay him back for what he did for me as a recruit, besides kicking my butt on a regular basis. I never resented it and on graduation day he told me he gave me ‘special attention’ because he thought I’d make a good Marine. He was only 3 years older than me and is now deceased. I even wrote a note of gratitude to his son and daughter. God Bless the Marine Corps and all the others who served in our military for the cause of freedom. Semper Fi.

  5. I sincerely apologize RT! I thought you were a United States Marine. That certainly wasn’t the grossest thing a Marine in combat saw.

ONE MORE TIME MARINES, THANKS FOR THE LAUGHS.

    1. Willard…I am a Marine…MCRDPI 1966…Vietnam 1966/1967 and I have seen worse. I just don’t like snakes.

  6. Having a snake as as a snake and teaching it a lesson of not to mess with a Marine. Oooh Rahhh! Semper Fi!
