Sgt Grit is a place where Marines can come and meet other Marines, share tattoos and stories, keep up with Marine Corps news, or shop for USMC gear.
I always planned to get another Mercedes SL convertible and this 2004 fell in my lap at a great price. Since it is Marine Corps Blue I decided to dress it up with Sgt Grit parts.
1st – A Marine badge in front grill.
2nd – The AMG logos on the side were removed and replaced with
USMC logos.
3rd – On the trunk is a Semper Fi Plate holder holding my Vietnam
Veteran plate, Marine Combat Veteran sticker, Silver Star
sticker, and Marine Corps screws to hold the plate.
1960/61 in K-Bay I was a crewman then crewchief of tractor 34 (probably not the same vehicle though). It's nice to know the line is unbroken.
I want to thank Lynn Lam and everyone at Sgt. Grit for all their great help and assistance with ordering the custom stickers for our light covers on our buggy. My husband is very pleased with how well the USMC Marine Corps stickers have dressed up our buggy. Once I cut them out and put them on they look awesome! Here are some pictures.

I was a driver and gunner in and Amtrac company at White beach on Okinawa. In 1958 we gave our old C3-Amtracs left over from the Korean war to the Chinese nationals. We got these new P5-Atracs. The Amtrac carried a squad of men from a ship to a beach and then inland. I am sure some old infantry men would remember taking a ride.
This is my New Semper Fi decal that I put on my 2005 Dodge Ram Hemi. I have received many thumbs up and OoRah's from it. Thanks SGT. Grits… you guys rock!!!!

I was in the Marines from 1972-1974. I also have a lot of stuff from Sgt Grit in my house. I like the stuff from yaw. You can see how proud I am to be a Marine.
No decals on this plate – NH Vet plates all have the flag. Look closely enough and you'll see that the "I" is really a "1". "You people ain't a herd; a herd has a leader. You're a mob!"
